Create your own new tech business for Mental Health

Venue: London

Submission Deadline: 30th June 2017

Zinc is a new organisation which aims to replicate the life sciences innovation system for the social sciences, translating research insight into new businesses that use exponential technologies and venture capital to solve major social challenges.

It is recruiting 40 people to a full-time 6 month programme starting in October 2017 to address women's mental and emotional health. Zinc is not looking for existing businesses. Instead, it wants to bring together talent, academics, investors and mentors to build brand new businesses from scratch. They are looking to get the right mix of people, so that together they bring a mix for skills: technology, user focus, clinical, commercial and operational.

All participants will be paid a stipend equal to the London Living Wage and be provided with free work space in central London, where they will be intensively inspired and supported by leading academics, technologists, entrepreneurs and specialist mentors.
