Innovation in Health & Life Sciences Competition Briefing Round 2

Venue: Various Locations

Sorry, this event has now ended.

Innovate UK is investing up to £15 million in projects addressing technical or commercial challenges in health and life sciences with the aim of increasing competitiveness for UK small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The health and life sciences sector focuses on agriculture, food and healthcare and is supported by bioscience technology, medical research and engineering and physical sciences expertise.

Grants can be awarded to a consortium, led by a business or a Research and Technology Organisation (non-academic), working with other organisations or research groups. All consortia must involve at least one SME. We welcome projects led by an SME. An SME can apply on its own for funding up to £100,000.

There are two options to apply into this competition. These are dependent on the size and length of your project. These options are called streams. Stream 1 is for projects under 12 months and under £100,000. Stream 2 is for projects over 12 months or over £100,000.

The full competition briefing can be accessed here.

The competition opens on 6th February 2017.

You must register before noon on 5th April 2017.
