Venue: CityLabs 1.0, Nelson Street, Manchester
Sorry, this event has now ended.
Later this year, the new Mi-IDEA Innovation Centre will open its doors on MSP's Central Campus. Mi-IDEA is a joint venture between MSP and Cisco to support the growth of key innovation clusters in the North of England, and will work with early-stage companies to develop innovative technologies and solutions.
The centre will focus on smart cities, Internet of Things (IoT), digital healthcare and the digital creative sector. In addition, the centre will offer post-accelerator and established technology companies a tailored programme to help develop confidence and capabilities as they scale.
The event invites all digital health start-ups across the North to find out how they can be part of the Mi-IDEA post-accelerator programme.
Professor John Ainsworth (Director of Connected Health Cities) will be there to explain how Mi-IDEA will support start-ups to develop, test and validate their products and services using real world health data. He will also explain how resident companies can access to domain specific data analytics capabilities as well as expert advice on the design and development of their services from our university and clinical partners.
Alongside John Ainsworth, you will also have the chance to hear from MSP start-ups who have successfully developed their businesses through these vital partnerships, and Cisco UKI Business Development Manager, Matt Cooling, who will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the centre.
