NSPCC Conference: Growing Up Online
Venue: The Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster, London SW1P 3EE
Join the NSPCC at their 6th annual flagship conference for child protection professionals, this year focusing on the topic 'growing up online'. The digital world offers a wide array of possibilities, but it is important that we understand the potential risks to children and young people, including their mental health.
Children are growing up in a different world to previous generations, with the boundaries between online and 'real life' becoming more and more blurred. At this 2-day conference you will be able to hear the latest insights and expertise from sector leaders on how to keep children safe.
Call for posters and demonstrations:
NSPCC will be holding a poster and demonstration session for presenters and delegates to discuss emerging research trends relevant to children and young people in the online world. They are calling for abstracts for posters, and digital demonstrations where possible, to be presented at the conference.
a 250 word description of the poster or demonstration should be submitted by 10th April 2018 to firstname.lastname@example.org
