Cisco and MSP have recently launched Mi-IDEA to support the growth of start-ups on the Oxford Road corridor in Manchester. Set to have a big impact on the North West's digital technology sector, Mi-IDEA is housed in the brand new Bright building, which is also the epicentre of activity for Innovate UK's CityVerve project. Manchester Science Parks is already a hub of activity for an ever-expanding community of businesses specialising in science and technology.
Mi-IDEA will focus on businesses working on smart cities, digital healthcare, Internet of Thing (IoT) and the creative sector. Small businesses can make the most of the expertise and facilities available as part of Cisco and MSP's accelerator programme, with access to personalised mentoring, ongoing support to ensure that the fledgeling companies have the knowledge and correct tools to bring their innovation to market.
With ample meeting and event space on offer at the Bright building, Mi-IDEA also acts as a hub of co-innovation and opens up opportunities for organisations to collaborate effectively with researchers, local government and other partners.
Further information is available on the Mi-IDEA website.
