Manchester Collaborates with Adelaide as part of the EU World Cities Programme

Following on from a series of meetings in Melbourne and Adelaide, Manchester City Council have made a formal proposal for on-going collaboration with Adelaide as part of the EU World Cities programme. The University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University and a number of partner organisations are mentioned in the proposal which focuses on smart and sustainable cities and involves existing projects CityVerve and Triangulum. This partnership could have huge benefits for University collaborations as well as providing a platform for showcasing smart and sustainable solutions for modern city regions.
