Smart Cities Survey

Manchester Informatics & the Manchester Urban Institute have recently launched a survey to identify UoM research and activities in a wide range of areas exploring the potential of urban data, innovative ICT solutions and digital technology to create improved, more connected cities and urban areas – “smart cities”.

Research in areas as diverse as healthcare, education, safety, economy, energy, transport, sustainability and the environment are all relevant to the theme of Smart Cities which is increasingly recognised locally, nationally and internationally as a major challenge.

Please complete the survey if your research interests are relevant - the results will help to bring together the Smart Cities community at Manchester to explore synergies, exploit opportunities for future Smart Cities research and to capitalise on the success of our activities and your expertise will be very valuable.
